Jet Express
Known as “the fastest way to Put-in-Bay,” the Jet Express ferry boats are located in Port Clinton, Ohio and Sandusky, Ohio.
During peak season (May – Sept.), the company runs a convenient two-boat schedule out of the Port Clinton site. Ferries depart as early as 7:45 a.m. and return as late as 11:30 p.m. Adult fares are $11.00 each way with children 12 and under free. Discounted evening travel is $9.00 each way from 5:15 pm to midnight. Group rates are available.
The Sandusky ferry departs every two hours starting at 9 a.m. Fees are $15.00 each way for adults, kids 5-12 are $3.50 each way and children 4 and under are free.
There is a $3.00 fee for travelers that would like to take their bikes to the island at both locations.
Port Clinton’s Jet Express is located just under the bridge on the Portage River. Signs are posted and ample parking is available. The Sandusky site is located in downtown Sandusky on Shoreline Dr. Parking is available at the Jackson Street Pier.
